Game stuck in Safe Mode?!

Hi there,

So I recently accidently clicked on 'start in safe mode' on Steam, however upon exiting the game and starting again in 'normal' also got safe mode. I have restarted my PC and game and do not know why it persists to open in the different mode?

I don't have Steam (never will either, unless I go for a sauna) but safe mode is started from the Troubleshooting links on my system. Find those links and try starting the game again in a different mode. I have three options there. Safe mode is one, DirectX and OpenGL are the other two. One of them will most likely work correctly.

When starting the game in Steam (on Windows) you get 4 choices:
* Start Euro Truck Simulator 2
* Launch with DirectX
* launch with OpenGL
* Start with safe mode

Just use "Launch with DirectX" to get things back to normal.

The above window is what romabysen mentioned. One can always go the library and right click the game and select the launch option too.
