Re: Geneve. France?
Maybe they moved it?
When my son moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, my daughter (who has frequent blonde moments) called on the phone the next day and I told her about him moving.
She says "Indianapolis? That's down by Santa Monica, isn't it?"
I laughed and said "Not unless they moved Indiana." [ external image ]

Re: Geneve. France?
This is because of the difficulty in cramming a city into a very specific location without breaking the (highway) distance to that city.

Re: Geneve. France?
Or perhaps by using a very lo-resolution, inaccurate, and poorly drawn background map...

Actually it's a part of 1920x1200 picture. I used it because of forum images limits.n4gix wrote:Or perhaps by using a very lo-resolution, inaccurate, and poorly drawn background map...
Re: Geneve. France?
Well at least someone knows the correct resolution for gaming. None of this mamby-pamby 1080 rubbishband1c wrote:Actually it's a part of 1920x1200 picture
(well, apart from 5760x1200, of course! )
Re: Geneve. France?
That's weak... 2560x1440 is where it's at! (That would be 7680x1440 in a triple header setup)
Damn, i sound like "that" other guy now. Who said that 1440p + was the "norm".
But we are slowly getting there, FullHD will be the new 720p in no more than 2 years i think.
And we are looking at 2160p becoming the new 2k resolution soon as well.
But back on topic, the background image is fine as it is. It's just not that easy to fit a city into a map with this scale.
