Example of backlight research

#1 Post by Michal » 14 Nov 2014 13:03

- we are interested in backlight of dashboard (gauges, levers, buttons,..) at NIGHT
- you can add variant during day
- whole wide screen + details
- engine and lights on
- photo taken without use of flash
- type of truck with year of production

- whole interior including all parts of dashboard, air conditioner and door buttons, etc.

Here is an example (screenshot of ingame truck) but we are interested in photos of REAL trucks. Create standalone thread for each truck.

Reason: Removed image link because it doesn't go to an image (or the image doesn't exist anymore). Instead, it takes you to a sketchy site that tries to automatically download extensions to your browser.

Hello SCS, here are some examples from an MERCEDES New Actros (White one) and from MAN TGX (Red One). Hopefully they're good enough to see, how it should look like :D

You forgot the year of production on the MAN.

White461 in that video, the person is using a light which emits a yellowish color, that will not help with accurate coloring and well, technically with that light, that is a flash shot... errr video.

Finally for everyone, it was requested to make a standalone thread, which means make a new topic for "each truck".

Also if this topic is to state what the rules are for backlight topics, then this topic should be a sticky.
I will just fix that, if moderators or SCS staff disagree, feel free to turn this topic back to normal.
I don't think and I am not sure if it will have to be necessary to lock it though.

Update:
Anymore posts for trucks in this topic will be moved, disapproved or deleted, depends on how kind we moderators chose to be.

Make a different topic for REAL UNMODIFIED trucks as Forum Admin: Michal asked.

I am hoping we do not have to lock this topic to prevent this from happening.

I'm back in work early in the morning, so I'll get some pictures of my truck, and when I'm back at base I'll get some of the other trucks we have.
I may not be very active as I am a truck driver in real life, so I'm away many weeks at a time !
