I have tried to remove or reduce the irritating and annoying hum sound, I have tried to decrease the low exhaust sound and tried a several news setting in the def file, nothing works.
I somebody can reduce the hum sound I will be grateful because with the noise sound by Kriechbaum the original Scania L6 sound real good.

I find that the new engine sound seems a bit out of sync with the rpm, in my opinion. It seems quiet and very slow when in the 1000-1500 rpm mark and then gets louder and
quicker at about 1800 rpm. I don't know if this is what it's like in real life, but personally it feels like faster louder sound should be lower down the rev range.

New scania engine sound is terrible, please scs, change it.

The basic sound of the v1.14 patch was realistic and if they only added that whining sound of patch v1.15 it was nearly perfect, so please SCS developers remove that irritating hum sound and re-edit the exhaust sound with the old exhaust/fan sound.

I feel I have to add my 2c to this as I am a loyal Scania fan & being of a musical disposition the audio element is very important.
Deliberately choosing my engines carefully to emulate the latest emissions/economy standards, I was enjoying my R370 as my 'eco' truck. Interested to see what this 1.15 sound was like, I too was disappointed when it appeared to sound messy & 'disjointed'. However, given how SCS obviously sample real trucks, then if this is more realistic then I'm all for it & it's a step in the right direction.
After a few hundred km in the 370, I have to admit it did start to grow on me - the sound you hear when lifting off being the most enjoyable, especially as to drive as eco as possible you be off the throttle as much as possible thus using overrun when the fuel valves are closed & the momentum of the vehicle continues to rotate the crank.
If one prefers to roll back to the previous engine sound via a mod, that's fine. We can each choose to configure this sim how we want which is part of its massive ongoing popularity.
Actually I think part of the reason for the sound growing on me personally was that, given the potential size of the tanks on the Scania T, I configured a T370 with as much aero as possible/legal, along with massive Yza smooth disc wheels, for an ultra-aero concept truck! So we can thank RJL's T for this one...
Ok that was more like 3c-worth.
