[1.15.0.3] Scania 6 cilinder sound [Feedback]

I've just installed the 1.15 beta and immediately tried the new Scania sound. I'm noticing a sort of bassy "hum hum hum" in the sound, which doesn't sound natural and it's actually really annoying. Kinda sounds like someone's listening to a bassy hardcore track. Also when the truck is coasting down a hill and the fuel is cut off, it sounds like the truck has a bicycle freewheel or a fishing reel.

Going downhill will activate the retarder to maintain the set speed and you'll hear that whining sound (in case that's what you mean by "fishing reel")

No that's not it, I've heard the retarder kicking it, I've set it to kick in at 5km/h over set speed, so that doesn't work until 95/100km/h when driving 90. I really mean when just coasting and the fuel gets cut off (Board computer shows "live" consumption as 0,0l/h

How did you set it at 5 kph?

Settings>gameplay there is an option to set it a 0, 5 and 10km/h over set speed

I tried yesterday also the L6 Scania sound but yeah that hum hum sound is real irritating and annoying, but I gonna try to decrease it somewhere somehow because the basic sound is real good especially the whining sound makes it more realistic.

all euro6 engine has this sound. but don't ask me why.

There seems to be as many oppinions about the "correct" truck-sound as there are players out there You just need to listen to all sound-mods that's circulating the community - 95% are (in my oppininon ) just ridiculous.

Modern standard trucks are boringly quiet when inside the cabin because of regulations etc.
