Thanks for your help. Guys, I'll try to fix it somehow. Perhaps it was a Windows update or maybe some bug of SCS Software that maybe now requires more performance. These days I try to do something to fix the problem. In the meantime, if anyone has ideas on how to fix it, I'll be happy to listen.

I thank the team of SCS Software that although it was Sunday, he always manages to find me to help me. In the extreme case, I will try to go back to a previous version in the game if you can not do anything.

What is the downside of using the 3Gb switch (XP)? I'm a bit worried to try it!! Since the 3Gb (of 4) is already used why is it any better? :?

It might cause problems ranging from failures of graphics heavy application (e.g. games) to system crashes under heavy load (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/oldnewthing/arc ... 09840.aspx).

Sounds like way more hassle than upgrading OS.

I have no problem running the 1.15.1 32bit executable on Windows 8.1 (64bit) & 6GB RAM. No crashes or anything odd happening.
MarinoPio, maybe you should just try to add a more swap space manually.

That's because you're running a 64bit OS. The issue here is trying to overcome some of the limitations of a 32bit OS, not the executable.

Well, MartinoPio good luck upgrading to a 64 bit OS it looks like you need it. ;)

Are there any other cases with a 32 bit OS running into problems playing ETS2?
