Hi,
ETS2 runs fine on my Macbook Pro 2014 Retina but the resolution is max 1440x900. I now run it with the highest graphic settings but rather run it in higher resolution.
Is it possible to run it in 2880x1800?
Regards,
Ramon

You said your monitor has a maximum resolution of 1440x900.
You can call me Ax

Nope, he didn't. He said he had a Retina display, hence the ask about 2880x1800. His game is running at 1440x900.
Re: Support for Retina display
The Retina display in the 15" MacBook Pro is 2880x1800 native. However, when using the display, everything is sized as if it were a 1440x900 display. (The same is true of the 13" Retina: 2560x1600 native, sized as 1280x800.) But it is rendered at 2880x1800. In oversimplified terms, each "pixel" of the 1440x900 display is actually four pixels (2x2 array), allowing greater detail.
But, for apps that are not designed for the Retina display, they render as 1440x900, and OS X upscales them. This is true of many games, but not all. A game can be programmed such that the full 2880x1800 is used by the game, but without the proper programming, OS X will treat the game as if it is 1440x900.
So, ETS2 would have to be programmed in such a way.

have hope ..

Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.
