Re: new Volvo fh bug
I can see why there is no 15, the numbers are bigger in game than they are in real life, at least according to those pictures. Either SCS has decided to increase the number size despite what they actually look like, or SCS saw a different interior in whatever Volvo they were looking at.
Regardless, adding a 15 into the ingame display will only make the numbers look crowded, unless SCS reduces the size of the numbers.

Re: new Volvo fh bug
Is it me having Déjà vu? I think we have had this one up before. (Can't find it).
As I remember, the conclusion was that there is several gauge version IRL.
Like this one which does not have 15 written.

See it much bigger here:

Re: new Volvo fh bug
Wrong, actually. The picture you are referring to is a studio shot, which obviously was taken from a stationary vehicle, thus it can not have 70 km/h and 1200 rpm, so the best guess is that this photo is edited.
I've personally seen quite a few Volvo's IRL, and they all had 15 written
P.S. the image of tachometer in 1st post is actually take by me

Re: new Volvo fh bug
Maybe, but I have nothing else to relate to than the images I find. (But I believe in you)
But why will someone remove 15 from a picture like this?
Are you saying that it is impossible to have 1200rpm when driving 70km/h?
Do we know if the truck drives up or downhill or just straight ahead? (if it drives)
Sorry, but you have turned on my curiosity..

How do you know it wasn't taken on a Rolling Road?Eugene wrote:which obviously was taken from a stationary vehicle, thus it can not have 70 km/h and 1200 rpm,
Re: new Volvo fh bug
Afaik, they all have 15 written on their gauges, no reason to remove it (even the smaller trucks, as well as older versions have it)
EDIT: As for the speed and RPM, it is possible to have around 1200 RPM at 70 km/h

I think this sums it up quite nicely.Flemming V wrote: But why will someone remove 15 from a picture like this?
Retired, but still loving it.

If you look very carefully, you can see that there is nobody behind the wheel How would you take such picture at 70 km/h without anyone steering the truck?
So, this doesn't sum up anything at all.
More reasonable question is:
Why would volvo make 2 kinds of tachometer? One with 15, and otherone without?
The answer is: they wouldn't, and they didn't.
