Terrain Points Assignment

How exactly Terrain Points for Control Nodes will be assigned ?

In the Docs i just found an info that i should look into the Blender Info for SCS Blender Tools.

Well.... According this Info text i first should select the Control-Node i want to assign Vertex Points to.

I select it.... Also select the desired mesh with the wanted Vertex Points with SHIFT to select both the Control Node and the Mesh.

Now i should change into Edit-Mode on the mesh.

However after done that i get lost..... I couldn't find any possible shelf or button where to assign the selected Vertexes to the Control Node.
When changing to the Control Node if being in Edit-Mode, Blender immediately jumps over to Object Mode, and so no more vertices are shown
to assign.

Could anyone here explain how this should work ?!?

Problem solved....

It wasn't clear to me, that both.... Control-Node and appropriate Mesh-Object must be parented to a (SCS) Root-Object first to successfully assign Terrain Points!
