Cab rivets to a normal map

Hey all,

I have converted Frank Peru's T660 to the current version of the game but now I would like to make some improvements to it like cutting down on vertices and textures as much as I can. So currently I'm trying to move the cab rivets to a normal map but I'm not terribly sure how exactly to go about this in Blender. I've watched a few tutorials on how to bake normal maps with Blender but nothing for ATS specifically so I'm trying to figure how it all translates to a truck model. My biggest hurtle at the moment is how to work with layers in Blender 2.8. Apologies if this is a confusing question or the answer is very obvious. I've only been working with Blender for less than a month now so I'm slowly figuring things out. Any guidance anyone can offer would be immensely appreciated. Thank you in advance!
