Blender Tools - Export Error (2021)

Hello!

I am not a complete beginner in ETS2 modding. I edited a mod (imported .pmds and exported them again a year ago). I had issues too but I did it somehow. But now I am stuck.

I get the following error message: "Error: Can't run conversion tools or there were errors by converting!"

I already now, how I can get the exported files: When I press >>> Pack Mod <<< a folder in the conversationTools will be created: conversationTools/rsrc/@chached
In that folder I can find the .pmd and .pmc files.

But I want to know why it does not work with the Blender Tools directly like in the tutorails. It's so annoying because I have a quite good model and I really want to know the reason for that error. I can't find any log files other than those in the picture.

- I watched the tutorials three times
- I did a very easy mod (just a cube as a frontgrill)
- I used three different Blender versions: 2.91.2 (Steam), 2.81 (Steam), 2.81 (non-Steam)
- I used two different conversation Tool versions (2.12, 2.10)

Hello!

I have a problem when i export my mod for ETS2 with Blender-Tools. I am not a complete beginner and did the same things in the past (importing and exporting models for ETS2).
But now I can't pack my mod.
I get this error at conversation: "Error: Can't run conversion tools or there were errors by converting!"

Even though I know how I can get the converted .pmd and .pmc files manually (conversationTools/rsrc/@chached), I want to know why I can not pack my mod with the button completly like in all the tutorials and in the past.

I tried the following things:
-different Blender versions (2.91.2 (Steam), 2.81 (Steam), 2.81 (non-Steam))
-different ConversationTool versions (2.12, 2.10)
-different base- and conversationTool- path locations (C:/, P:/)
-a very easy mod (just a cube as an accessory for a truck) like in the tutorial.

==>> Everything works but mod packing does not work fully. I have to copy my .pmds manually out of the conversationTools/rsrc/@chached folder. I want to know why.

There is no logfile when I do it with blender...
The only thing that gets created is a linked folder. (picture)

But I noticed one thing: When I press 'pack mod' in blender I then can press _convert.bat (in conversationTools/bin/win_x86). After I pressed it everything gets converted and there are no errors but only in the @chached folder. (As I said it works manually but I want to know why it does not work automatically with blender).

So I thing the error occures because blender can't access the _convert.bat file. But I don't know why because they are in the same harddrive.

Addition: gameLog of .pmds in @chached folder (looks like models do not work with this "manual" method, only empty locators (as I have tested it before))

Delete .tobj files in SCS project base file and try again. You just edit parts (if not change material) already you don't need old .tobj file in SCS project base file.

I deleted all .tobj files but it still does not work. Do I really have to cancel this project? I made a quite good looking model and now I can't export the mod?
It is so annoying.
But I will not give up that fast. I am currently looking in the python script files of the Blender tool and found a bit. I'll write a new message when I found something important.

Hello again!

I found a fix for my problem so I want to share it.
1.) Check if you can switch to the conversationTool path with the command promt: (it works when C:\Users\...> switches to [Your conversationTool path]> (See images below))

1.1) If that does not work you have to move the conversationTool folder into the C: drive (if that is your default drive when you start the command prompt)

2.) Open the following blenderTools script file: (default path: C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.91\scripts\addons\io_scs_tools\operators\scene.py)
2.1) Go to line 965 and change
