Wheel animation and updown + fronback not working

Hi, I've animated few buttons and windows and they work fine. However when doing animation for wheelbase tilting and extending as well as wheel animation itself, they appear to not work in game at all, and the wheel itself is in the wrong position from the bone.

Any help?

You cannot have two anims on a single bone. Both extent and tilt for the culumn needs to be on separate bones that are linked together so when one moves, the other does as well.

Still can't get it to work. I recreated bones in this order bone_frontback -> bone_updown -> steering_w. Reassigned all vertex to newly created groups with same names. Updown animation works with vertices in currect place, but tilt vertices flying into the air and animation not working.

I'm going to try parenting tilt bone to extending (and doing animation vice versa) bone to see if that fixes the issue. (but it still kinda doesn't make sense, why would it not work!).

Upd: nope, doesn't work. Now tilting animation work, but extending animation doesn't. Am I setting the parent wrongly, or what?

If the whole column moves, you need to only assign it to one bone (either tilt or extend) and then setup parent relations for these bones. You cannot have one vertex skinned to multiple bones. Best practice is to import original SCS model and see how it's done.

Yeah, I checked DAF 105 and did that, no vertices are skinned to other bones. I skinned windows to different bones, I have buttons which are one object skinned to different bones, and they work fine. But it seems problem with the bone being a child. Since animation on parent works okay, but child one doesn't. Any more ideas why? It it possible because I did animation after parenting ?

I take it on the bottom picture, blue goes up and down while red tilts and moves with blue? If you have Discord, PM me so we can solve this faster.

Etrusan eventually figured it out. For some reason pma files that were in my interior folder from original mod (that I used as example) caused this bug to happened, even thought non of the original animations were used and specified in sui file. Deleting them solved issue.
