Chrom Texture

Hey guys,
i make a mod and the chrom texture is looking really badly. It is my first mod for ETS2.
i use Blender 2.9 i did not found any Infos how i have to go to make a really nice Chrome. I have no experience how to make Texture in ETS2

i think i have a problem with uv map or somethink like this i ad in the front a new zylinder you see the chrom texture is perfekt then i start to rotate the end in blender on the left you see the reflection is not straight forward like in the middle of the cylinder, its somethink like radial i think you see on the pit the mark of yellow and black and then look at the picture how this reflectet is on the cylinder. I hope u understand and can help me

246 Viewers and no one can help me? I choosed a Bar from 50 Keda and it works also fine the chrome looks realistic i dont know what i doing wrong.... I tried much like UV Mapping

add an Edge-split modifier to your objects.

It solved not my Problem, idk what the error is :(

Yes it will.
in your game screenshots, your objects have horrible-looking normals.

it's when you want your objects to look like this;

but in-game, they turn out like this:

Select the correct edges manually, and mark them as sharp.

Because SCS tools don't account for sharp edges, you'll have to add the edge-split modifier as well.

hey, so i did like you want, in the middle the reflection is now ok, but the reflecetion zooms to much and is not horizontal

No, it still looks nasty, just in a different way. How does it look in Material preview mode? (Z→2)

p.s. by the way, marking these edges as sharp wasn't necessary, because there's a bevel.

Try a weighted normal modifier, if that doesn't work, then your edges still aren't split.

I delet the Bevel
