18 Wheels of...*sic*... License
18 Wheels of...*sic*... License
Who holds the license for every 18 Wheels of Steel title on the market. Random question. Is it SCS? Is it the defunct publisher, ValuSoft? Is it both? Would kill for Steam release. A Steel Bundle too.

Steam says it is "Cosmi Valusoft": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmi_Corporation

Hot. Damn.
They really are on Steam and I thought FOR DECADE AND MORE they weren't... What a phenomenal case of ignorance.... I have no explanation.
Re: 18 Wheels of...*sic*... License
It isn't that long that these games appeared on Steam... Maybe two years ago? But then, the publisher was called "Retroism". Confusing.
I never owned these games, my first SCS game was ETS 1.
EDIT: To check this, I searched for "Haulin", on Steam. Look what I found, as an byproduct: "Haulin' Oats":
"Sound Card: Only if you like sound"
That's the spirit! Could be me.

They really had me when talking about min/recommended hardware requirements:Haulin' Oats is a board game about truck driving, the US highways, and oatmeal. Four players compete to deliver their cargo then return to the warehouse while avoiding various dangers along the way. Take part in sabotage, races, curses, and more to get the upper-hand.

They were pretty cool games, for their time, but as nostalgic as I am for them, I couldn't play them now. Nostalgia only gets you so far.
