I found a strange problem.
When using uncompressed packaging, it will cause the map editor to crash. Then delete any files in the package and the crash will not happen again.
Then I tried packaging with moderate, and everything worked well. What's the problem?
I just added some looks textures to the map model, and I can't enter the editor after packing it with uncompressed.

The log shows me a lot of similar content, but I know the problem should not be on these models.

How would I go around doing the chassis shadows?
Currently I'm using ones from the default Scania and it's not the best

assembly your truck )chassis, cab, tanks, wheels, other parts that are on the truck at all time and could affect the shadow) model the fakeshadow plane and then do an ambient occlusion onto it, this way you can use the texture for the game world and the fakeshadow plane + texture for UI

then in GIMP you can select Color > Color to Alpha and select the color you want to be gone from the image (in this case white)

On a slightly OT note, what's the recommended method for testing truck traffic models (think convoy mode)?

PS: Nope bugging people to join me with a test version of my mod that they need to re-install every 5 minutes would just annoy them, I'm good enough at annoying people without intention as it is without making it worse :lol:

One thing I can recommend is making a small map in the editor with lots of intersections so trucks have to stop often.

Then in the vehicle spawn tool set it to only trucks?

Just a thought.
