i seem to cannot install the updated addon. i install but theres no option to enable it. i have installed addons many times before without issue.

ive unistalled and reinstalled blender multiple time and still nothing. and yes im on blender 2.93

modding is officially over for me. there will be no more updates. as i cannot get blender tolls enabled.

@50keda It looks like maybe something broke with the base/parent/sibling folder relationships for texture resources. I'm getting several errors like "Texture file '//vehicle/truck/scr_gmc_general/parts_n' from material 'chassis' doesn't exists inside current Project Base Path. TOBJ won't be exported and reference will remain empty, expect problems!" However, all textures referenced in these errors are in the project base path, and exported perfectly fine (other than warnings for missing UV data) in the previous version.

i dont have these errors, any special thing i have to do ? all my worked on models still work, custom textures also and everything is inside a base folder

I have no problem for now. I tried a few saved truck models and it didn't cause any problems.

This was the only problem. When I downloaded the Tools and copied it to the C: \ Users \ Users_your_name \ AppData \ Roaming \ Blender Foundation \ Blender \ 2.93 \ scripts \ addons folder, I couldn't activate it in Blender (2.93). The problem was solved by renaming the zip file "scs_blender_tools_addon.zip" to "io_scs_tools.zip". After this I successfully activated the Tools in Blender (2.93). @Chief86 this may help you.

Well yeah, guys wrong folder level was used for packing. You can download again it should install now properly ;)

As for the paths @Smarty it is also fixed, so redownload and install and even paths should work normally on export!

Copying this from the Help Requests because I am stumped now.

Yesterday I had a working model from Blender into ETS2/ATS using Simon's tutorial on Youtube from 2016. But come this morning another model I made won't show up in the Editor and I don't know where I've gone wrong.

It has .pmd and .pmg files, two textures, two tobj's.

Any ideas?

50keda Thank you very much for your work. I downloaded it again and all the problems disappeared. It's amazing how fast the import and export of files has become. How good that you are and have created this addon for blender. How many models would not exist now if you hadn't created your own addon. Once again, thank you very much, I am sure many people are grateful to you for your work.
