Re: SCS Blender Tools
Hi guys, really appreciate some help. Spent an entire day trying to figure this out.
1. Using Blender 2.90 (note I'm using the zip version, not the .exe)
2. Extracted SCS Base and def- updated the file paths accordingly
3. Updated Shader Preset
4. Trying to import and export MAN E6 without any modding, just to test the settings
5. Base path set to extracted folder of the truck
This is what happens when I import it

And this is what happens when I export it

EDIT - I noticed the dds files referred by the tobj files are missing in the directory. I added them. And then I got this,

Re: SCS Blender Tools
A new update of SCS Blender Tools, Conversion Tools, is planned soon. There are still difficulties with export imports. Thank you!

Everything will be okay in the end, and if it`s not okay, it`s not the end.

Re: SCS Blender Tools
there are no difficulties importing/exporting anything except rare prefab cases, BT and Conversion Tools are updated for 1.40 (well Conversion Tools not because there is nothing to update) BT isnt just set up correctly and those throws all these errors

Re: SCS Blender Tools
This is a test! The cabin model was successfully imported but when it needs to be exported then it is a problem. Note no changes have been made to the model !! Now that you know well what is the problem?

We can only conclude that the problem is in the original model or in the converter. The error is related to Vertex Color.

Re: SCS Blender Tools
Please specify what you mean by "original model". Did you convert the extracted base.scs with ConvertPIX and then import that model?
Re: SCS Blender Tools
@tobrago That just shows you that BT has been updated. Take some time to document yourself and stop spreading misinformation.
Those are not errors, they are warnings and they are working as intended. They are still there on the original model most likely because the material texture is so dark that a few vertices over 0.5 won't make any difference, or it's an oversight. Either way, it has nothing to do with the tools.
