Current version of SCSBT works fine for me in 2.90 - I think there wasn't anything in this release that could break SCSBT.

Sure! Looks like people are affraid of 2.90 because they think it's a stuff breaking change like 2.79 -> 2.8 but it isn't.

Updated to latest BT some days ago and can't understand the vertex coloring. On my Alcoa rims I've used RGB 0.4 but I just want to change it to basic 0.5 but the "Vcoloring" is greyed out in the SCS tools menue :?

vertex coloring is still possible normally through Blender's vertex color menu

Did anything change in terms of how textures work that would need and BT update? Because I get this kind of black textures on a truck. I use SCS textures that are just converted back to DDS through BT.

What do you mean by "converted back"? There is an occlusion texture (interior_ao.dds) used in that shader (dif.spec.oclu) - it's a special format DDS (A8 uncompressed). If you converted it to RGBA then you would get that look :)
