Re: ConverterPIXWrapper - Import PMG models to Blender with ease [v1.5 - 16. 1. 2018]
Hi guys, I have a problem that I can’t handle myself. I used blender tools to import scs files, and everything was fine, but after someone deleted blender by mistake, problems arose. I installed Blender again, connected the plug-ins, registered all the paths (everything is correctly spelled out), and now when importing scs file, any file, even base.scs, the same error appears.

Reinstalling plugins and a blender doesn’t change anything ... how can I deal with this? Everything is installed on the neighboring computer and it works fine, only I have such a problem.

@Schreibikus Are you using the right version of BT and Wrapper for blender 2.79?
You must use (BlenderTools 1.12, PIXWrapper 1.5) and also older ConversionTools, but then you can't modding for 1.36
I suggest you download blender 2.81 and last version of all plugins

Hello 50keda, despite the fact that you have done a great job, I would like to ask you someday to find the time and make one more small setting.
file __init__.py, line
someone is happy with that value. I set the width to 1000. Is it possible to make the window width adjustable or at least increase the default width?
Because sometimes we have rather long file names and it is inconvenient to work with such names in narrow windows.

Code: Select all
return context.window_manager.invoke_props_dialog(self, width=500)

Not windows, but panels. Agree - these are two different things.
In addition, when importing animations, it may be necessary to move both panels back and forth. It is not comfortable.
Moreover, the option with width=1000 works fine. But every time I update the plugin, I have to make this change manually.

Unfortunately, installing 2.81a and related plugins does not solve the problem. Throws the same errorAmirMahdavi wrote: ↑05 Jan 2020 17:12 Are you using the right version of BT and Wrapper for blender 2.79?
Yes, I am using the correct version. Everything works on another computer.
I suggest you download blender 2.81 and last version of all plugins

@Schreibikus, everything works fine. You accidentally forgot to do:
Click meIn that case you can search for "base.scs", select and add it to extra archives using Add Archives to List. After that you only search for a mod archive, select it and proced with importing.

This error occurs even when opening base.scs itself. I'm not saying that the script is bad or does not work, everything works fine on other machines, on this one specifically - no. As I said earlier, all the paths are spelled correctly, I checked it several times, and in general I used this script constantly, such a mistake is news to me. I can’t understand what’s wrong ... Mystery ...

@vad&k: well it might be comfortable for you, but people with smaller screens might have problems. And since window can't be resized by user, it's safer to use smaller value like it is now
