This model has more than 1.1 million vertices and more than 1.3 million indices (edges) as ConverterPIX says. Loading this amount of information to the Blender through SCS Blender Tools might take a lot of time (even few minutes).

Polish translation:
Ten model ma ponad 1,1 miliona wierzchołków i ponad 1,3 miliona krawędzi jak mówi ConverterPIX. Załadowanie takiej ilości informacji do Blendera przez wtyczkę SCS Blender Tools może zająć bardzo dużo czasu (nawet kilka minut).

Looks like i found some bug. If i try to import new Scania steering wheel with ConverterPix wrapper, i immediately receive this error:

<error> [model] /vehicle/truck/upgrade/steering_w/scania_2016/default: Invalid version of descriptor file! (have: 54264000, expected: 4)
Failed to load: /vehicle/truck/upgrade/steering_w/scania_2016/default
Wrapper exe was updated today, so version is up to date. Other Scania `16 models i tried to import (interior/truck models and some other tuning parts) can be imported without any problems. :?

@AlexeyP fixed. New version of ConverterPIX is available at github (https://github.com/mwl4/ConverterPIX). You can update executable in wrapper by pressing update button in blender settings.
Basically base.scs now weighs more than 2GB (so 32 bit signed variable is not able to handle it - everything has been converted to 64 bit types).

@siedlecki95 Even 15 minutes might be too few. If you are able, share with link to the modification, so I will check.

@50keda I can only confirm what @siedlecki95 said above: blender freezes on importing large model. truck.pim weighs 275 MB and after creating piece_7 (checked twice, always there) it freezes. Till that moment blender is taking more and more memory but after that it freezes.

This problem rather belongs to SCS Blender Tools than to ConverterPIX or Wrapper.

after 40min model is in blender but its missing some textures

@mwl & siadlecki: I would like to see this model performing in game, imo is best to avoid this model xD On the other side, yep, I would also agree that issue might be in BT because whole 275 MB is read and stored in containers which might eat up 10 times more space (most of importer uses rather old code which wasn't designed performance wise, so solving this issue would mean rewrite of whole importer to eat up data piece per piece not whole file as once, which would require quite some time, thus you can't expect quick fix for it). Nevertheless I will try this model tomorrow and see where is the biggest problem, maybe I could do quick fix to speed sth up (so siadlecki please share link to the mod).

@siadlecki: this model has 1 million and 375k triangles thus I am really not surprised it takes so log for blender to import (it took me 20mins). It's even a question if I would import piece by piece if there would be any speed up. Because biggest issue is creation of the mesh which is blender thing.
