I'm also experiencing a crash when importing on version 2.91.2. I'm using Blender through Steam, so I went to "properties > betas > version 2.91 - stable" to see if that would fix it. The problem is, when I launch Blender, it's still on version 2.91.2. I even tried restarting Steam, but Blender still won't downgrade. I just started using Blender for the first time this week, so I never had any prior versions installed on this computer. How can I get it to downgrade to version 2.91.0?

My Blender crash log has the same errors posted on the previous page.

Can confirm it happens in 2.83.12 LTS as well, downgraded back to 2.83.10 for now.

Also, I know we all love to blame blender, but let's remember SCS BT tools are an add-on for Blender. So it's possible something has changed which requires an update of BT Tools... although that shouldn't happen in LTS.

But you should think of SCS BT for Blender, the same way you do a mod for ETS/ATS. If the base game broke a mod, you wouldn't blame the game. You'd say the mod is out of date and needs updating.

Exactly the same thing here with SCS BT and Blender.

The changelog for LTS is:
* Windows 10 Start Menu and Taskbar Visual Appearance Issues for Microsoft Store Installations. (T79356)
* Particles: Fixed thread work size calculation. (rBcde858ae98a)
* Crash when deleting hair collision collection. (T83280)
* Fix crash sliding effect sequence strips. (rB7edf1e64b3d)
* Naming Vertex Color attribute as "snout, Snout" causes shader error. (T83625)
* DrawManager: High quality normals for non meshes. (rB2f3e97b6d38)
* After updating the video card drivers to 20.11.2, interface artifacts appeared. (T82856)
* Wireframe not displaying with AMD GPU. (T84459)
* Fix: Update normals when switching scene quality. (rBb78d373e96e)
* Creating and removing many objects very quickly causes a crash. (T84397)

Going by what some of these change, it is possible they could make an add-on incompatible.

Either way, just downgrade for now.

@supersobes If they've decided 2.91.2 is the stable version then you can't downgrade to 2.91.0. You'd need to downgrade further.

Just download directly from Blender's website which lets you choose the correct version. @supersobes
