Wheels in beta

when i was in the DAF euro 6 i went into the upgrade shop in newcastle, and i clicked on the sirius wheels on the truck and suddenly the game crashed! btw SCS great game love what u have done with this and took it so far.

I have similar issue, got so bad even with mods removed it would crash when I tried entering repair or upgrade shops.

This was the final section of the game log before I decided to run a disk check on my machine... I concluded the save for the certain profile was corrupted and replaced the entire profile with a back up once my machine was in reg mode again. If only SCS would create a rim that was paintable.

Izmaragon, you should ALWAYS SELL the custom add-ons (even the whole truck, sometimes), BEFORE de-activating mods, or you end up with permanent errors like those, because the game can't find them and there is no way for you to select and remove them via X button, because they don't exist anymore.

You're likely to be right, but that particular profile is my one truck one, meaning that I was using one truck for all deliveries, not like my other two ones that have promods on them, [and happen to be different levels of same profile, just copy/backup]; where I switch truck to truck randomly, hasnt been too bad on the others...

Whats done is already done, I suppose scs shouldve added a bit more of a red letter warning to this beta, cause this the first time I've had this major of trouble.

but as I said, It set one profile back a bit, no matter... As long as I dont get damaged, I should be fine... [Yeeeaaahhhh.....]

Not being funny but if that's how you view beta testing then you are not the right sort of person to be beta testing!

Stick with 1.16 stable fella, you'll be much happier.

Ok, fixed....

I reverted back to 1.16, made sure the tires were stock, saved it, then reverted back to 1.17, successfully changed the tires to the new config just fine. Found a save [thankfully] of the previous truck so all is generally well, but I will leave the profile alone until beta is finished...
