Now I have lately tried a several brands of trucks but no other brand as the DAF euro6 has the problem to lift up the front wheels, every other brand lift up the cabin just a bit.
I didn't notice any understeer problems on every other brands only the DAF Euro6 with the taglift down en up, so the bug is DAF Euro6 only in my opinion.

Your opinion and my gameplay experience disagree then.

But do you use a keyboard or steering wheel and when you use a steering wheel with pedals how do you accelerate?

I put the gearbox in the 3th or 5th gear and accelerate slowly till a 50km/h and change gear on the end of the green zone, form the 50km/h you can accelerate a bit harder till the speedlimit.
I can imagine when you accelerate aggressive or using a keyboard you can get understeer problems because you can't really dosing like a throttle.

I experienced this bug while driving a Scania 6x4. I was in CC at 80kph and came up to a medium bend in the motorway, I use an xbox360 controller and made a slight input on the steering stick. The truck continued straight ahead so I increased the steering input, the steering suddenly became effective and the truck swerved so far I almost ended up on the grass verge. This isn't a controller sensitivity issue as 4x2 trucks drive as they always have.

Happy to report that the understeer problem is barely noticeable with the 6x2 taglift lowered New Actros :D (note I said barely ;) ), hauling 23 tons of beverages.

By the way for those who are not caught up yet (and apparently didn't read the beginning of the topic :? ): viewtopic.php?f=166&t=181932#p367770

And there is a case number on this topic now so that means SCS is looking into it, also if you want to fix it yourself: viewtopic.php?f=166&t=181932&start=50#p372254

Otherwise, lets wait until the next update, unfortunately 1.18 doesn't fix this. (as far as I can tell)

Correction: 1.18 reduces understeer to a drivable state, so it shouldn't be that noticeable, if you notice it at all, with my recent test with the 6x2 taglift lowered DAF EURO 6 with a 21 ton load of empty palettes. (note I said shouldn't be that noticeable, you still may be able to notice a bit of understeer but not too much that it would ruin your experience).

DAF Euro 6 6x4 on 1.18 with 22t logs. Still some push under acceleration. Very noticeable if shifting mid turn. It's better but still not 100% right.

e: Just tried MAN 6x4 with 24t gas pipeline parts. Lot of push under acceleration.

Just tried a Scania 6x4 with 23 tons of clothing in a container on 1.18, understeer problem is still there. Not as bad as it was (i can still sort of turn), but its still there. (staying away from Germany for the time being)

I managed to sneek in a short test drive with the 1.18.010 beta version. The understeer is still there
I am comparing to the 1.17 w/ Scandinavia (where the understeer is more or less unbearable - all was fine with the 1.16 version of ETS) and maybe the 1.18.x.xx versions seem to be a bit less pronounced :geek:

I was testing with 30t of coal pulled by the Volvo FH16 Classic 6x2 taglift 750 hp I-Shift (steering wheel Logitech WingMan Formula Force GP)
Keep on Truckin' :P
