1.17 and Logitech driving force gt

#1 Post by Mister.EXE » 01 Jun 2015 06:31

As you can see on the video, with game version 1.17 of sync steering wheel Logitech driving force gt with wheel games, going back to version 1.16 all falls into place. Help with settings. I'm even in the "Logitech Profiler" turns the steering wheel set to 900 degrees, not helped. Making the video. If anyone has solved the problem, we illustrate a similar video as my more.
sorry for not quite able to Express the information, since I use a translator

this indeed looks like you have set 780 degrees in your wheel drivers still (as was used in 1.16).
are you sure you have no mess in profiler's profiles? is 900 degrees value really loaded?
Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.

As you can see, I intentionally recorded the time that the program "Logitech Profiler" is set to 900 degrees. If You have everything in order, then send me a video with detailed settings in the "Logitech Profiler and in the game, on the steering wheel. Such assistance would be more effective than information on aid in the form of text

What Max means is, are you sure that profile that you have set to 900 degrees is the profile that is still used when the game is in focus?
Apply a persistent profile to make sure. (Read more)
From the link wrote:Here are some additional troubleshooting steps that you can try:
  • Check if the games you play have settings for force feedback and degree of rotation within the game itself. Sometimes in-game settings will override the settings on the profiler.
  • Also, try setting one profile as persistent (Go to Options> Global Profile Settings> Apply Persistent Profile) and check if the settings of that profile sticks when set as persistent.

Global settings almost solve the problem, but about 890 degrees. The lack of the global settings in that they summarize the options. And besides playing ETS 2 I have a lot of arcade races to which these settings are not suitable: you have to reconfigure each time before you run different games-it's very uncomfortable (big minus). Therefore, I ask the developers to fix the problem with the steering settings that need to be removed from game version 1.16

i've no idea what to fix here.
change of steering wheel angular range from 780 to 900 degrees is planned change in 1.17 and there is very very small probability that it will change back. it was made especially on demand of users of advanced devices like GT is.
there are known some issues logitech profiler has with regard to its profies. if you cannot use global profile for any reason, you have to deal with correct usage of its standard profiles.
other option that came to my mind (apart from reverting back to 1.16) is to extract steering wheel animations from 1.16 and use them as mod. it should work.
Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.

Here the same time I have a Logitech Driving force GT. Don't know how users rudders with 900 degrees had problems. As you can see, the video I have in 1.16, everything was perfect. But, starting with version 1.17: 1) of sync, because of this I advise you to go into global configuration and compile options, what causes a full uncomfortable each time you run other games, restoring previous settings. If I had all the games under 900 degrees of turnover of the steering wheel, then I would have reacted positively to the global settings in the Logitech profiler. 2) the Wheel in the game was to be late for a few milliseconds for the Logitech Driving force GT.

Your settings do not give positive results: the problem remains, there are slight variations in degrees approximately 890. I already wrote that we need individual settings, specifically for ETS 2 profile. In addition to ETS 2 I already have Dirt 2, Dirt 3, Dirt Showdown, etc. Have you tried to turn the wheel under 900 degrees? There 200-350 high need. So again you have to go into global settings and change the settings on 200 degrees and so every time that is uncomfortable. In version 1.16, I had no problems.

Mister.EXE, I have seen your video and there is definitely something wrong in your settings. I have the exact same settings that SiSL shows in his screenshots and this is what I get:
I should also mention that I too have the need to change the degrees of rotation from time to time as I also play GT Legends, which requires 270 degrees. I do not use the Logitech Profiler Global Devices. I don't know if it has the same effect, but this is how I change degrees for different games:

1. Right click on the Logitech Profiler system tray icon and select "Game Controllers":

2. Click Properties and then click Settings:

3. This is where I adjust the degrees of rotation as needed:
