Engine Texture missaligned (minor bug) [18733]

#1 Post by Wolfpig » 25 Jul 2015 16:01

Saw this posted a few day ago somewhere else.
The Engine Textures in the big garages (think only the scandinavian ones have them) are not placed proper (anymore?).

I think this is intended, because I think that you cannot drive your truck to that area, for example have you ever seen small houses (villages) while driving on the motorway? You cannot drive to that location but if you spawn your truck there, there actually smaller than the truck!

On the opposite, i think this isn't intended.
Hence a valid bug report.

Dr doom, it's possible to drive into that garage. That's why it's even decorated and textured on the inside.
If it was part of the scenery as you say then it wouldn't have any inside textures.
On extended hiatus.

Except the engine looks bad from both angles and you will spot the issue if you drive into your garage and look at the engine.

It's definitely not intended to be like that because the texture is made for that model specifically. They actually spent time making it and now it doesn't look the way they designed it.

Ignoring the discussion above, jsut saw that it is the same case in the small garage (but that seems logical with the same model).

http://www.directupload.net/file/d/4060 ... 9x_jpg.htm (@dr doom) that one should be an engine which you can defenetly see if you drive into the garage i assume ;))

Engine texture misplacement.

Description: The engine texture is misplaced on the model causing it to look strangely.

Location: Every large garage in Scandinavia DLC (so I guess pretty much every single model of that engine)

Game version: 1.22.0.22s (64bit) (also tried it on 32bit and it looks the same)

Tested on: Clean profile (and another profile with mods enabled)

Always reproductible - happens in every large garage in Scandinavia
