Forum rules
SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Hello guys, I have a question.
For the text on the rims, is there any chance to have the same text but in different colours at the same time on the front and on the back.
I need the text: "Never late in a V8" in green for the front tyres and in white for the back tyres.

@ReDevil: For that, you want to edit /vehicle/truck/upgrade/wheel/disc/abas_steel/textures/text_1.dds However, you can't have different colors on the different wheels. They all use the same texture.

Yes I noticed, but is possible to create a new file? For example text_2.dds and materials (it should be the duplicate of text_1.dds and a little editing of material files?)
Probably in this way will be possible to have one text or two in different colours at the same time on the front or on the back tyres.

You can always create a new file with a different name, but to have it on the rear wheels, you will need to edit the wheel model in Blender or Zmod to re-assign the texture used.

Ok thnx, it's what I was scared of, I'm not able to use blender and I don't have zmod3. I was able to do that using the old zmod but it was long time ago.
It's not much important, only for a skin I created but no problem.

Please tell me how to make your text,I took your file with the name "Rim_text - YOUR TEXT",opened it in photoshop and write your text,then in mod Manager put the mods on Tex above your here this mod "Painted_Rims - Red_White",but the Teks I have not changed.

Hey DaStig, can you help me ? How can I make my own text to work, I know I have to use mipmaps but how can I "create" those mipmaps ?
