[Modding Tools] DDS Converter and Texture Viewer

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. For "mass" convert tga to dds you can use nVidia tools "nvdxt".

My favorite tool is Nvidia Tools and Intel Textures Works. I do not do mass conversions so for me they are the most useful in what I do. Especially since you can use it directly with photoshop.

I can't believe that NVIDIA finally updated their Texture Tools (Plugin for Photoshop) in 2020 :o! Still, Intel Texture Works for me all the way...

QUESTION
What to use - Linear or sRGB?

I talk about BC7. For my Real Companies mod I use sRGB. Is there any difference? Btw, I have calibrated monitor so I went with it, but honestly even after reading about it,
I have no idea what is the right choice :roll:.

How did you convert .dds to .tga? Any tools?

And is that your workflow always working on .tga as the “source” of .dds?
