I'll give this a test later when I get back from the shops. It might be an easy fix in the map editor. Is it possible just to load ROS in the map editor? Or does it need connections to properly function?

I think it should be possible to load only ROS in the editor; ROS was always meant to be a standalone map?

I've always included it with Promods and Rusmap, but I'll see what happens.

Edit: I'm in ROS in the Editor now, will check out those collision issues.


Found it, where abouts east of St. Petersburg is this railing?

When you see this, this is what just east looks like. Assuming you mean these railings? Model collisions in green, terrain collisions in red. I have scouted the area and it looks fine.

I've just made a new profile with ROS as standalone. It works, although there are no city names visible in the Headquarters Selection screen. Apart from that, it works. I didn't include Promzona, as Promzona is kind of a road connection between ROS and/or ProMods, RusMap, Piter.

Map combo load order updated with:
- EAA 6.1.1
- Viva Malta (I totally forgot to include this in my load order list, although I had it all the time in my profile activated)
- Original Loading Screen Mod. This mod is optional, but at least the text message under the progress bar (in case of changes in load order) is visible again.

Hi, I just want you to know that on the RoEx forum there's also a specific BG for Promods based combo map,
with satellite image. No dislocation of Iceland there!

Is there any BG's for non ProMods that has Iberia, Bulgaria/Turkey borders, Krasnodar Krai, Mangystau Region and more in the right place?
I have tried different BG's from the RoEx forum, but still the same problem.
RusMap, Great Steppe, Southern Region and SibirMap. Game version 1.40.

/edit: Well, the Krasnodar Krai region is in a bit wrong place, due to SCS's shift of the background map and map editor map.Sometime after ETS2 1.34. @BenganJ
I did a check of the areas yesterday, after I had posted the message. Mangystau Region region is outside of the SCS BG's area, so can not say if it is where it should be, or not.
But Iberia is inside, but still missplaced. I did a further check too, Cyprus, southeast coast of Turkey and the coasts of Syria, Lebanon and Israel. Your BG does not match SCS's BG.
This test was done on the April 28th, 2021, v1.2.

Eurasia/Global map combo load order updated with:
- Road to Asia (not compatible with EAA)
- Israel-Lebanon Open Border v4
- Mediterranean Expansion v1.3 (it was said that it was not compatible with ETS2 v1.40, but it is)
