Hi all I willing to bet that in order to use ROS and Promzona that Great steppe and SIbr map would have to be taken out and possibly SZM addon but Im not sure where ROS and Promzona fixes would go in the load order. If I remember right When I used ROS in the past off one of Wombat combos there were broken roads around Great steppe I quit using ROS not because of that there was a road in ROS that had a missing bridge. Wouldnt mind getting it going again though I need some long hauls to EAA. :lol:

Not yet.

@Vinnie Terranova

ROS can fit in, but I'd need some time.

@freyr Where did you find those? I can't see them on trucksimclub. I'm only looking on the ROS Thread that's pinned.

- Are you using the load order which can be found in the first post of this thread?
- You have two different versions of Red Sea.
- You have The Great Steppe-model2-v2.0 which you shouldn't use if you use RusMap.
These are just in the mod folder, not actually enabled. I also double-checked and the load order I believe is correct.

it called ProMods Large Map Combo High Quality Extended Background Map
Hi, I have just installed this mod to replace the old one that I was using and it works fine (the one I had before was from the RoEx website). Not only does it function perfectly, but it also fixes the Iceland map bug that a lot of people seemed to be getting, where Icelandic cities were shown as being in the sea, way south of where they should be. Even the pro map-combo guys on YouTube seemed to have that issue... :)

@JazzGuru

Hi, I just want you to know that on the RoEx forum there's also a specific BG for Promods based combo map,
with satellite image. No dislocation of Iceland there!

Re: Load Order - ETS2 v1.40 Map Combos (Updated 17 may 2021 - Russian Open Spaces - Promzona)

#560 Post by Vinnie Terranova » 17 May 2021 20:24

I've added a new map combo load order: Russian Open Spaces. A few notes:

- I've only test this map combo load order by driving from Saint Petersburg via Promzona to some city in ROS.
- I've used the Global map combo, but without the following map mods: EAA, The Great Steppe, VolgaMap, SibirMap, Kirov, Piter, and SZM.
- Just east of Saint Petersburg there is a problem with collision detection: you can drive right through the guarding rails (or whatever it is called). And if you drive off the road you will fall down.
- As I have not tested it thorougly it is still possible that there are many more places in europe with anomalies.
- ROS English City Names doesn't work with all cities.
