Load Order - ETS2 v1.49 Map Combos (Updated 07 Apr 2024 - Heart of Africa - Horn of Africa - Road into Wilderness)

Hi. i'm still using your load order without iberia, going to greenland makes it crash for me, after removing it the ctd is gone is it perhaps, project greenland isn't compatible with PM2.52? my game log on a test profile with only PM2.52/greenland. https://pastebin.com/c6DYR0cP

@Rozuko I've googled a bit about Project Greenland: Project Greenland seems not to be compatible with EAA. So use one or the other.

@Vinnie Terranova i'm not using EAA. i'm using eurasia combo without EAA, it's still somehow crashes even with just Promods/project greenland, it works on your 1.39 but i guess, something broke project greenland this 1.40/Promods 2.52, i'm not sure

That could also be the reason for the crash; maybe Greenland is just not compatible yet with ETS2 v1.40 / PM 2.52. I don't know, and I can't test it anymore. I'll remove it from the list.

Actually EAA was just recently updated for ETS2 v1.40, and therefore wasn't in that archived load order anyway. But if you can get it to work, I can put EAA 6.1 in that load order. You should have something like this:

ETS2_LAMB_SAT_BG_MAP_BORDERS_BLACK_PM_FIX
...
rest of load order
...
EAA 6.1 Ferry to Europe Clean-Up (optional)
EAA 6.1 CAPS FIX

Hi there:

What a great forum this is.

I've loaded up the available maps in the order specified on page one of this thread. Some I couldn't find, like EAA CAPS FIX 6.1 - the latest I can find is 5.5. I updated the AfroMap to 2.2. I've got the latest ROEX and RusMap. And I've checked and double-checked that they're in the right order, and as far as possible in the right versions.

But ETS2 crashes on startup, every time. I get to sign in, and select a game to play. It is during the following loading screen that my computer crashes. No warnings, just, bye bye ETS2, hello cute kitten videos.

I should add that I have absolutely nothing else in the way of mods in my manager at the moment. Nothing. Zip, Zilch, Nada, Sweet Fanny Adams.

What am I to do? Sit in my room and stare out of the window at my beautiful scenery here where I live when I have an important delivery of frozen chicken wings to get to Osaka? Come on, this is vital!!!

What would you guys do? Is there a solution to this problem?

I wish I knew, and if any of you good people have any good ideas I would love to hear them.

Everything is fine but the EAA map goes crazy a bit.

@Stephen Butler, it is always hard to say where your problem is unless we see your game log. But from my own experience... Have you tried creating a new profile with the same load order?

@Stephen Butler I think the CAPS FIX is just a cosmetic fix. It shouldn't be the cause of your crash. You can find it here. You might want to post your gamelog right after you crashed.

@PikPikker Do you have ETS2_LAMB_SAT_BG_MAP_BORDERS_BLACK_PM_FIX? This small file should fix that map anomaly.
