No use to copy the model as it won't work

Solutions: You can ...
  • fiddle around in \def\world\prefab.sii if models are the same size (You need to fix this after every update)
  • edit the map and replace the prefab (You might need to fix the map mod now and then due to updates)
  • edit the model (material can change by every update)

Like I said before, there are mods of the Scandinavian garage. The first three on This page are all the same except for having different company signs. All of which are just .dds files and easily changed. If you can handle the forklift and gas pumps with mis-mapped skins, and speed limit signs on the drive way, there you go. (Or if you know how to do it in Blender, you can repair or remove these things...)

If the opacity is set on the material properties you need to dig deeper than just the skin
