On the 320 FF, the lightmask shows up whenever the high beam is on, even if the roof auxiliary lights are disabled in the light options. Once you have the roof auxiliary lights enabled, there's also a significant delay between the time when you turn on the high beams and the time the flares show up in front of the lights. I'm interested in making my own fix for these to allow them to work properly on 1.42. Are these things that I would be able to easily fix myself?

I haven't put my tiny brain into the lightmask world since SCS updated the lighting system, yet. What I know the only Jumbos that work reasonable are the ones without extra leds. At least last time I tested

@supersobes, the lights probably have the flag in it's def file to use the truck's lightmask setting versus the auxillary lightmask setting ("electric_type: vehicle"), which will make them light with the high beams. Also, to fix the flare delay, you just have to add the state_change_duration line in the hookup file with the desired timing, or copy the @include from one of the standard halogen flares. If this isn't present the game defaults this to 1 second (1.0 value).

Today I also trying to edit the mod for fixing the flares and I give up because it seems needed to edit some modeling files.
but in the hookup data, it can also use "electric_type: aux_light" for the aux lightmask setting.
Hopefully this amazing mod will be updated in the future

twist it all you want but the Pirate guy did a good job updating certain mods .....
no additional fixes as pre-steps just plug and play ... this guy deserves a medal instead of a report.

You need to update the flare .sii files for the new lighting system.

So sad this Mod doesnt work anymore. I used 1.36 until mid 2021 and this is my favorite Light Pack. I hope it will come back at some time to the new lighting system :/

Hmm... not checked that this mod is not updated anymore. It seems I can still work somehow with an older version. Just useing standard and no led ones.
But what bugs me is, I can´t get it to work, changing the "color-channel" of the painted lights. For now, they are seemingly bound with black, and I need em to follow the blue channel route to match with my truck and trailer skins. I am relativally new to this. Can someone please give me a hand, hint or tip for that?
