If I choose GRSO925R with 3,08 ratio game crashes with info:
.131 : <ERROR> Engine accessory is missing!

Tried with RJL Scania R500

I have just tried it, It worked fine for me. You must have some mod conflict.

Seems that 500hp engine is not compatible to GRSO925, works fine with GRSO905

That is true. GRSO925 is generally used only with DC16 730 engines.

I’m sorry but Scania does not supply technical information, drawings, measurement or colour codes to truck model manufacturer, game or simulator developer. It would be impossible to keep all licensees up to date with relevant data with high quality and therefore has Scania principally decided to say no to all such requests. It’s up to each and every manufacturer to obtain needed data through own research.

Ugh, 2 times failed to get any informations from Scania. Should ask on some truckers forum if someone have these gearboxes and ask for ratios from their documents.

For light to medium loads I would go with GRS905 with 2.71 diff, for heavier i would go with with 2.92 diff. Or GRSO905 with 3.27 and 3.42 diffs. Although the 2.92 version is has a bit shorter ration all in all.
