[2.16] Scania Drivetrain Revision

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Hmmm....did you make new pictures for the engines of the R and the S? They are supposed to be silver/grey instead of orange now according to pictures on their website

Hi, one question.
Is it possible to use your drivetrain mod with the new scania on 1.28(strobels mod) ?
I tried to modify the engine def in strobels mod (torque curves, cosumption and shift points) with data from your mod but with no success.

The gearboxes are their and i had no crash.
But the Problem i have is still not solved.
Short Explanation:
The new Gen Scania s580 with automatic gearbox(in game: real automatic-economy setting) has a very high upshift Point(around1500rpm). I would like to lower that Point, as i did with other gearboxes before, to around 1350-1400rpm so that the change from 11th to 12th gear happens around 82-84km/h. Right now its around 94km/h, which is way to fast. (used gearbox is gro...905r with diff 3.07 and 0.80 btw.)

I tried to tweak the engine def, as i did with other engines before, but so far it stays always the same. It seems that no change in def has any consequence.

Does anyone has the same problem?
Could it be that there is in 1.30 a change to the transmission code so that the current way of tweaking in 1.28 does not work in 1.30?

Beside that another question, gameplay related.
When using real automatic gearbox is it possible to change gears manuel like in real, where i can "override" the selected gear from the automatic Transmission?

This Will be solved by using gros905r with 3.42 dif or gro905r with 2.71 dif

You have a hint up/down shift or something like that in key bindings that will do what you want.
