abasstreppas lights [New accessory mod] v1.1

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Lights, lights, lights :o :D

abasstreppas lights 1.0 for ETS2 version 1.27 and up

This mod adds custom rear lights and small lights

Content list in 1.0:
  • - Bullseye rear lamps with chrome ring
    - Reverse light with chrome ring
    - Red/White side light (lollipop)

    Changelog 1.1:
    - added classic hamburger rear lights
    - updated "suitable for"-list
More lights of different types will be added to this mod over time ;)

Known issues:
  • - This mod is optimised for RJL's Scania and as I don't have every truck mod out there it's impossible to know all the hookup definitions "suitable for" those trucks, (I'm talking about all those nodes/points where you add stuff on bumper, sideskirts etc in the truck shop) If you want't me to add those in future releases, just provide me with the hookup name(s).

soooo..
All I have to do is add:

Code: Select all

	suitable_for[]: "backside"
	suitable_for[]: "r_grill"
	suitable_for[]: "f_grill"
	suitable_for[]: "b_grill"
	suitable_for[]: "fender"
to each of the code blocks in def/vehicle/addon_hookups/abass_lights.sii ???
That's it?

[edit]
Evidently so.
Great accessories abass. Love it. thank you :)

Maybe, if i could, perhaps suggest a little more "range" for the reversing lamps?

@room217au, if you cannot pick the new lights on your bumper or fender and whatnot.

Then open the file and go to def\vehicle\addon_hookups and edit abass.lights.sii and add what ever is missing like:

Code: Select all

suitable_for[]: "name_here"
Write your missing in that field where i put name_here and save and start game and sellect your new lights.

@room217au: I'll add the one at top and bottom of your list (backside, fender), but I feel it's no need for those others as they are on the front of the truck ;)

@jaws: thanks for that simple tut :)

So if anyone else has any hookup names for me to add to the list :? Just post it in this thread :D

EDIT: @Room: they uses standard SCS flares so you have to edit that yourself
