SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. Not sure if someone else got that problem, I guess not, but the version put out by Mr. German Truck and gothscher has the yellow Michelin doll appearing all black to me. Probably the texture was saved in the wrong format...

Have you tried running the game under OpoenGL? I've seen this problem happening before. It's some DDS texture not saved in the right format. It works under DirectX but not OpenGL. Someone in another thread wrote a shell script to batch process DDS files and make sure they're saved in the correct format here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=295903&sid=f354585 ... 95994e4662.

Ah, okay. I don't use OpenGL, only in games that use this option exclusively. Then it's no wonder that I don't have this error.

It's a common problem with modders who think that only Windows users are playing the game, while it's available on macOS and Linux...

Its more down to them not realising what dds options to use when they generate dds files . BC3 and mipmaps or it all goes a bit screwy lol .

if they would use official tools ant not photoshop this wouldnt be a problem

Does anyone still update and maintain this mod? if so Lightboards are black in ETS2 1.40.
