License Plate Pack part 2 (13.1.23)

SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

Tried 2048. The small serial numbers look decent enough. Just a bug with the custom license plate holder since i rescaled the image from 512 to 2048. But ill get it fixed. Thanks all for the information :)

Thanks, I like this mod! Is there a plan for the future to complete all SCS trucks?

@mgysgtdev, proportion is just as important as size. :)

@--JV--, I have no answer to this question. Today I do not plan to add content to the mod, but I cannot say with certainty that tomorrow I will not change my mind.

@vad&k is blender required for making your own license plates? I tried to edit this mod (just adding my dds. plate and creating the defs too) but it wont work. There is some error in log about "unknown variant" and so on. I guess this must be done with blender?

I'm asking because I had no issue with some modded trailers, it is easy to make a license plate for them. But trucks seems to be another thing.

@LAFAYET47, it all depends on what you want to get in the end. If you just want to change the display of the license plate, then you will only need to make changes to the desired texture (for most cases this is the simplest and most correct approach) using a graphics editor. If you want to add another option or make changes to the 3D model, then you need a tool such as a blender.
Own license plates for both trucks and trailers are made according to the same principle.

Does anyone why the black of my created license plate is like a washed out black instead of real black?

@mgysgtdev , nobody saw your texture! 8-)
It could be the wrong alpha channel, the wrong compression method, etc.
