[REL] Painted HS-Schoch parts for Scania S & R

#1 Post by TheNuvolari » 09 Jul 2020 12:25

Hey everyone!

So after countless hours of yelling at the monitor I finally figured out how to make chrome parts paintable. There are already mods for making the vanilla parts paintable, but none for the HS-Schoch DLC that I'm aware of. So why not making a mod for it? :)

Every part is standalone, won't replace the original HS-Schoch parts.

THE HS-SCHOCH DLC TUNING PACK IS REQUIRED TO RUN THIS MOD!

for example of the front mudflap mg_mgscania_black_h.sii, this would be to long because it has more then 12 characters this here is the accessory_addon_data line of the mudflap

Code: Select all

accessory_addon_data : scaniamgbh.scania.r_2016.f_mudflap
now you take the accessory (f_mudflap) and then the accessory name itself (scaniamgbh) to get the acc_list[]:

accessory_addon_data : scaniamgbh.scania.r_2016.f_mudflap

would be

acc_list[]: f_mudflap.scaniamgbh

KNOWN ISSUES:
- the AERO TOP and AERO VISOR roofgrills don't emit any light
- the sideskirt stripes for 6x long chassis aren't available yet

Tested on 1.37.

Have fun! :D

Thanks for the interest, folks! :)

One picture for today!

For some reason this painted roofgrill doesn't emit any light, although the DLC chrome one does. I don't know if I can fix it but at least the log is error free so far.

Release probably tomorrow, there isn't many files left to do now.
