Scratches on windshield V2.2

#1 Post by Kororuz » 25 Apr 2021 10:55

Hi! ;)

This mod will give you the opportunity to scratch the windshield of your truck, which will give a certain realism. These are scratches, no cracks, so the mod is made in an unobtrusive style and represents a kind of experiment.

Mod has been upgraded to version 2.2! (14.08.22)
Adjusted textures. Added support of some mods trucks

Mod has been upgraded to version 2.0! The scratch texture alpha channel has been changed. Four levels of scratches also appeared. Therefore, the structure of the modification has been changed:
SoG_ETS2_2.2.scs - main file
SoG_ETS2_2.2_Low.scs - low scratches level
SoG_ETS2_2.2_Medium.scs - medium scratches level
SoG_ETS2_2.2_High.scs - high scratches level

SoG_ETS2_2.2_None.scs - New option with no scrathces, just small deffects (version 2.2)

One of four levels file must be top. On the image, it's low level

As a locator for modification, the locator responsible for the projection of drops on the windshield was chosen. Do not worry, the rain remained in place, wipers work like watches (I myself was surprised). Therefore, this mod does not occupy any of the slots reserved for accessories of the interior. Purchased for $1 at the store. The modification contains all SCS trucks but also contains:

- Ford FMAX
- Mercedes Axor
- Scania R700
- VW Constellation
- Scania Next-Gen P G R S Pack

NEW IN V2.2
- Volvo FH MK1 by Nikola Trucks
- Mercedes Actros MP2 by Dotec
- Mercedes Actros MP3 by Dotec
- Mercedes Benz SK by XBS
- Sisu M by XBS
- DAF 95ATI by XBS
- MAN F2000 by XBS
- Iveco S-Way
- MAN TGA by MADster

Please inform me of errors found! The texture of scratches on the outside is a well-known bug that cannot be fixed due to the mechanics of modification. It’s not critical, but there is

Thank you! It gives it much more realism and the scratches are light and not too noticeable, I like it! :)

Could you add compatibility with RJL scania trucks?

Thanks! This is just what I miss from the game, some visual wear and tear on the truck. Also I want dirt and bugs colecting on my windshield, then using wipers to clean it. Hopefully SCS will add something like that..

It is still completely new... = D Seriously, I would like to update the mod when I create some new textures. A little later, I think

Non steam mods can also be used in Convoy, but obviously require a little more coordination.
