SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. There are also concerns that it could look unfavorable to potential work partners going forward if SCS allow mods that may potentially use unlicensed branding.

How i integrate this in my map if it's on Steam and not an actual package? I understand Steam mods. but map materials? Or, when i release the map this is gonna be added like a separate package? And if i am using other packages i will do the same and in the final release the user has to download the map maded with 17 little packages?
I dont use anything from Steam just because the game place the content in my mod folder even when i am mapping. Maybe i am wrong but i don't see this working.

You don't. You simply provide a link to the Workshop.

Updates, downgrades and version dependant variants are handled automatically. All the end user has to do is click "Subscribe". There's no reason for me to go back to legacy.

So, "if you want to play my map you have to subscribe to Etrusan Workshop in Steam. If you are using Steam workshops (i know i'm not). And you must have internet on. No internet, no Steam, no map".
Why i would want to set this kind of limitations to my map users? DLC or game version limitations are not enough?
I'm curious if any mapper will find this a good ideea.

Again, it's your work, do whatever.

Hello Etrusan. I realIy like your work but I found a bug on (is 24b s v d), (is 1a, 1d d), (is 2a,2d, 3a d) and (is 4a, 5 d) signs. They're editable area is too small.

Looks like I forgot to move the locator after duplicating the meshes. I'll include a fix in the upcoming version. Thank you very much!

Re: [REL], [ON HOLD] Etrusan 3D v1.6.1.35 (no requests)

#48 Post by Etrusan » 06 Jun 2019 07:53

v1.6.1.35 has been released with support for ETS2 1.35.

The bad news is this project has been on hold for a while and that won't change. Why? I was approached with and interesting idea for an ETS2 mod and since it was somewhat in my field, I decided to act on it. I can't wait to share more details with you as soon as I'm able to.

I will do my best to keep Etrusan3D compatible with new ETS2 versions for as long as I can and I might sneak in some changes along the way.
