SCS as a company do not wish to have paid mods on this forum. While we understand that not all paid mods use the Intellectual Property of other companies/people, it is very hard to moderate what is and isn't acceptable when money is involved. Rahtaah Service ( Garage Expensive Edit )
This modification is a modification of Garage Expensive from the base of the game.
The all doors are available to enter and exit.
Remember that you can download the mod and insert it anywhere on any map by the editor, it's only up to you to get creative.
Changelog:
- Models removed from inside the garage
- Removed collision inside garage of existing models
- Inserted a gas station inside Prefab
- Inserted a service point / workshop inside Prefab
- Removed garage management point from within Prefab
- Removed Prefab patio garage purchase point
- Moved the resting place inside Prefab
- Removed Front Doors
- Removed external mod gas station

Would be great to see SCS take this idea and implement it into the core game. I really don't understand why we have a huge garage but only get to use a tiny bit of it. You would think you would have some customization options and a option to save customization options so you could re-use them on other locations. Each location having a customization option would be a huge plus and really add something to the game. It will have a lot of options and problems to go trough obviously, but SCS is a great company that might find a good way to get it working. So some ideas:
So let's start in how to aquire land or a garage.
1. A more similar option like we have now, but instead of buying the garage you rent it.
2. Another way is to buy a plot of land (this part can be expanded and always is empty, aside from trees, grass or such things)
Now for the first option of renting is obviously very straight forward and doesn't need much more then what it is now (although perhaps some additional functions might help, but need to be rented as well)
But what about the second option?
1. Probably a good idea is to empty the land first so you have enough space to build on.
2. Choose the building that you like for the location (pick what fits and what you like, no upgrade function for that needed)
3. Choose additional exterior and interior features and what you might need including the repair/customization option and fuel
4. Buying more land and being able to expand that specific location by buying more garages here (up to a specific limit so it doesn't cause problems with the rest of the map)
5. Currently there is a office part attached to the garage, which can't be entered nor has it really a function. But with this potential upgrade it could serve as a local booster for finding jobs for your drivers. So AI drivers won't strike out and keep claiming they can't find a job. Another plus might be (if you can step out of your truck at least) that you can walk inside and see your employees actually working and see the office related things these offices should be handling. Planning for example, or as it's a game perhaps a board that states where specific drivers that are based at that location are and what they are doing. A more friendly way to see what your employees are doing instead of opening your regular windows regarding this.
There might be more functions that could be interesting to work with, your own terminal for example, adding a railroad loading dock if possible at that location or something along those lines. I think it could have a major additional bonus for both ETS2 as ATS that you don't really drive only, but also have the ability to manage from a office like a boss usually does or a planner etc. It does work a lot better if you actually see your own trucks and drivers roam around in-world as well obviously.
