For the lane change, and that the vehicles have a higher tendency to circulate on the right, try lowering this value:

speed_lane_default: 80

Below 140, you will observe how the trend of the ai is increasingly to circulate again in the right lane.

you can safely remove the last 3 rules as they do nothing, in fact last rule with negative value is even incorrect. the time to overtake and to change lane are variable values, depends on speed, vehicle type, power engine, road inclination so values here are completely useless . I don;t know what other rules are outdated in Rockero's mod as it's too large for me to download and check :lol:

Hello friends.

There are values that @Oksana Astankova has modified that do affect traffic, such as patience, safety, flashing light timing, and practically all have an effect on traffic in one way or another. of other. I imagine where he got those rules from, since I also know that mod :lol:
As mentioned, as @cip has commented, is also based on other values, such as the physics of the roads, whether they are up or down, vehicle motorization, etc ...
But believe me, those rules are not outdated at all. From the place where he got these rules, I know perfectly well that they are rules that come directly from scs with values that are still effective today.
If you override some of those rules, nothing will happen, because scs still have them implemented directly in the game.

alright I was curious what rules you have in your traffic_data therefore I downloaded the almost 500 Mb mod :lol:
I can address my comments to few rules:

max_vehicle_count: 50 - this is too small, ETS2 can spawn up to 120 Ai in total and at rush hours we can take advantage (it's a small possibility that the spawn bias rule will multiply the max count as well )
ai_safety_modifier 2.8 and ai_patience_modifier 1.9 - their range is -1, 1 si probably in this case both use the maximum value 1 (I am not a fan of extreme values here)
yield rules: defult values are fine, I won't touch this
all the light and sunlight rules (or almost all) are obsolete and mjack confirmed to me 2 years ago. this is why Oksana had her Ai with lights on all the time. She (not he) can confirm that after removing these rules Ai use rationally the lights. I see them all in your traffic data and here comes my reply: these are no longer working correctly, if you have patience to look in my traffic density thread 2 years ago you will find it. if you want to test, just check Ai light in a country with mandatory lights false then remove these rules and check Ai lights again both in dry and rainy weather. I am sure you will agree with me that scs did a good job here :lol:
obsolete rules do not necessary mean that the game will ignore them. perhaps the rule was only changed and if old values are kept active will mess up everything (like the Ai lights)

@Oksana Astankova I am sure you apologies our friend Rockero because he does not speak English. his efforts to post on the forum or Discord where we are friends as well, are nevertheless remarkable ;)

Dear Rockero, I just released my traffic sounds mod for ETS2, the public version for SCS vehicles. I see you mentioned in the first post that your mod offers support to my sounds. I am not sure what this mean, however for your vehicles present in your mod, you are allowed to use any sound link from my mod and keep the banks in my traffic sounds pack. here you can find my sounds: viewtopic.php?f=211&t=252682 in case you want to use my links
as you know very well from my Discord server, the rest of my sounds that are not available for public cannot leave my Discord server, thanks ;)
