Are we 100% sure that Challis is mapped? It says in the blog

“Idaho Falls to the Challis (near Salmon City)”

Which indicates to me it’ll be part of the Salmon marker. I could be wrong but that’s my impression from the language of the post.

The "Thank you Promods, very cool!" reply from the real SCS had me DYING!!! Hats off to SCS's social media team.
That was not the real SCS. Check the user links.
The Real SCS Software's comment was "Yeah, very cool!"

@flight50
Bonner's Ferry, not on release atleast.
Kellogg, not on release atleast.
Wallace, not on release atleast.
That's what the dev console flyover checks tell me.
I do wish that they would have told me something else.

BTW If we look for statistics, Idaho now has 11 blog entries. Utah had 15 (including release date, release day and after release) and Washington had 16. If the trend is the same, we might have another blog or two and then release announcement.

I on the other hand, start to believe that the next Idaho blog, might very well be the blog post with the release date.

I believe that to. I hope for more than 3 blogs this week

We've had two Idaho blogs in three days. Utah and Washington also ramped up blog output near release, so we're definitely getting real close.

Don't we usually get a "Coming out this month!" announcement on the first of the month when it's going to be released? I'm gonna watch for that tomorrow.

Challis is a guess. We can't deliver to a non mapped town though. My thinking is that if Challis was attached to Salmon, the blog should state Salmon and not near Salmon.

@Shiva the issue with the dev cam is that it does not extend that far east so we really don't know whats past CDA.

I like Wed/Thursday next week. Blog this Thurs or Friday for next week. SCS needs to take our money.

Have you seen SCS's response to someone on Instagram? Also, one of the special shipping jobs belongs to the potato farm in Twin Falls.

If Challis was marked, why would they mention Salmon at all? They'd just say its a delivery to Challis.

Not mid-July. They never release in the middle of the month. Before July 9th.
This is about as logical of an argument as "It will release in August because they've never released map DLC in July".

Besides, didn't Washington release on the 11th? I'd classify that as "the middle of the month".

I reasonably expect that it will be within the first three weeks of July, but I'd guess somewhere between the 7th and the 16th. We're practically in July now, and yet they haven't even narrowed the release date down to July, and 1.38 still looks very much unfinished unless something changed this morning. I'd expect one of those things to be dealt with by now if they were aiming for the first week of July. All things considered, I'd sooner expect it to be later than the 16th than earlier than the 7th unless we get a blog literally tomorrow that changes things.
