Same, Mack R with Kriechbaum's new sound, 315 hp engine and a Maxitorque 12 speed. Mostly I use Harven's trucks or Overfloater's k100 with Kriechbaum engines.

"J's" truck usually has a 600 HP Cummins, 18 speed with 3.25 rears. Good for running >80K flatbed loads but can also run a little heavier if needed.

Fleet Spec JRT trucks are usually 525 HP Cummins / 13 speed with 3.25. A mix of 389s, 579s, 567s, and a couple of W900B's.

The Blue Devil is more of my outlaw truck, designed to run perishables as quickly as possible. It has a 600 HP 60 series Detroit, 18 speed, 2.89 rears. Made for speed. I usually don't have to shift to 8L until 65/70 MPH. Vroom!

@J. Ritter 3.25s are for flatland. Need 3.58s or 3.70s and then you'll have a good pulling truck and flatland cruiser.

@Larry71490, true. I think the game's ratios can be off. I feel like anything above a 3.55 and I'm revving way too high when doing above 55 in 8L/8H.

Really wish they would give us more gear ratio options. Have it to where you select # of gears: 10, 13, 18 then have several preset options like 2.64, 2.85, 3.25, 3.55, 4.10 etc etc. I'd love to run a 10 speed in my fleet spec trucks but the one in game runs the RPMs way too high for efficiency concerns.

I was running an 8x4 Chassis (because I thought the extra axle made a difference for weight of loads you could haul). Once I learned they didn't.... I went back to the 6x4 chassis, as my turning radius got way too wide with the 8x4.

Custom 800hp Twin Turbo Caterpillar Engine 2050ft-lbs torque

300 gallon tank

Eaton-Fuller 18spd with retarder
