That is probably the worst channel ever for ATS/ETS2 news. It is nothing but extremely broad based speculation which serves no purpose to anyone or the community in any way shape or form. Just my opinion but I will never, ever watch a video from that person.

I was thinking of something in addition to my list earlier that was mentioned. I don't see the car transport trailers as ever being ownable. There simply is not enough locations around the map to use them effectively.

1.43 could see further Force Feedback tweaks when it comes to Logitech users. But Logitech is also to blame here too because of a business decision they made several years ago. Logitech added a larger deadzone to counter complaints of excessive rattling and/or out of control force feedback due to excessive clamping. The G923 wheel was the perfect chance for them to bring a belt drive to their lineup but they stuck to the old helical system. Another bad business decision by them in my opinion.
You can never make a miserable person who complains about everything happy. They live by "If I can't be happy then no one can be happy."

What if SCS made the auto industry a featured industry like this. Now we may or may not get the dedicated car hauler that we all know of here in the US but we can at least get a better more realistic hauler. Its quite a bit of work to get a dedicated truck. Lots of parts and piece to add or remove from the truck. Mainly speaking, removal of the 5th wheel, add a head rack and add a hitch to the truck. But if we can get the longer 5th wheel variant, that could be ownable if we got things from this post I made last year when Iberia's blog happened. Now I don't think its a 1.43 updated thought, but somewhere along the lines.....ATS has to also jump to a deeper auto industry. Its a pretty easy industry to elaborate on. A solid 3-4 new places like auto plant, tire plant, glass and lets say parts...and we good. Glass is coming with Texas and we have autoparts from Voltison. We could use another parts place though. The other two in auto plant and tire plant could help support the auto industry a bit better if we ever got thrm. But from my link, we could have a solid 4-5 places to justify an ownable car hauler with plants, train depots, ports, much larger car depot and even the large rental car fleets like airports.

AI can be improved, but i think right now 1.43 will be small like 1.43 they will bring new feature and cleanup the map bugs. Think California phase 2 wont come till 2022 as other items like driving school, then shading fixes, and newer AI vehicles. The ETS2 will be bigger update of the two with 1.43 then ATS

If it doesn't come in an update, I am VERY hopeful it will come when Montana drops. There's connector roads from Wyoming to Montana that won't be made if they don't continue US-14 across to Cody (thinking primarily of US-310 ). There's also the problem that US-89/US-191 that goes north out of Jackson (the dead end leg to the northwest corner) doesn't allow commercial trucking. So connecting US-14 over to US-89/191/287 on the northern side of the national park would create more connections to Montana (if you look across the top of the state you'll see there are a number of routes that could be made across that corridor) as well as allow you to link over to the northwest corner and continue your commercial load to a city such as Butte or Helena (or Bozeman if they include it) versus looping I-90 to the north or all the way south. It would allow another 'connector' between major interstates without having to travel all they way to I-15 or I-25 to link north south... I don't know. Feels like that's a semi major connection that *REALLY* needs to be made.

My $0.02. Worth even less than that I suppose.

^Nah. Your 2 cents is worth it. I can agree with it...well most of it. You made a good point about other roads off that corridor. I'd be surprised not to see US-310. So Cody would be ideal if we got US-310. Now this is Montana for sure but Cody/US-14 can come at any point. Montana is more than likely a Winter 2022 release. Texas comes before it. So we have from now til Texas's compatibility update to get Cody/US-14. Waiting til Montana doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me to get Cody/US-14....if they are indeed on the menu. The part Montana should get is US-89 thru YS and US-310.

There is no indication that SCS will add snow to either ATS or ETS2 anytime soon. Perhaps it's something they want to add in the long-term, but that's not something anyone on the forum would know.

No telling what the devs will do and when they do it. We all just sit back and wait. But your question should probably go in the ETS2 forum, not here in the ATS forum.

@NikolaR95 Pavel said in a recent (latest) interview that they would like to add seasons (and months) to the game from a long-term perspective, and I suspect that they are working on it, but it will take a long time, maybe scs ll be able to do it while ETS2 is 10 years old, anything is possible
