Once Texas arrives, I figure Clayton will be introduced via hwy 87 as both make the game heading out of Raton to Tx. I also think hwy 64 has a shoot once Oklahoma is added heading out of Clayton.

The next dlc will let us know if situations like what update 1.29 did in regards to adding new roads. Will it be the norm when doing the compatibility patch release? I sure hope it is. Some extra roads to be excited about really gets the fans going because we had heard nothing of it until the open beta hit. Most of us are all pleased with the additional roads that 1.29 brought. If Oregon is indeed next (rumored via latest blogs) I believe hwy 101 will add Crescent City as the 101 travels North into Oregon. The 101 could get hwy 199 splitting off from it as it connects with I-5 coming out of Hornbrook. If we get Utah next I am sure I-15 gets added to both Nevada and Arizona coming out of Las Vegas as it heads into Utah. Elko will get I-80 extending over into Utah. It is a given that every single Interstate will make the game. What is not a given is what US hwy will make the game. So it will always be interesting to see what hwy connections does and doesn't make the cut in route to connect to the Interstates.

ETS2 hasn't covered the entire Europe and we are still enjoying it. Once we have the states highlighted in the pic below, ATS players would breathe easier than now.

I approve of this. I would like to see the whole western states finished either. Although it will take some years to add another 7 states.

Once I see that, I would not give a damn about the rest. The western half of the US has it all and that's enough for me.

My longest job in ETS is ~2500 km, I think that's the longest possible anyway. After NM DLC, we also have 2500 km jobs in ATS. Now is just a matter of map shape because those jobs are going on a single path, from north-west Cali to south-east NM.

Been driving around in NM and 1.29. I'm visibly noticing mountains and objects just popping in. While driving around just see a train pop into view as I get close to it. Has there been a change in draw distance and can we increase it as it's slightly annoying seeing things just pop in.

Pyramide quote removed including picture.

That is my thought process as well. Thru all the post I have been commenting on, I keep saying once they provided the first 1/3 of the US, all the Western states which includes Pacific and Mountain states, everything West of the Plains states. All three of those are saying the same thing. SabR you just gave the visual graphic that most that are not familiar with the US will understand. I think with all those states, people will perhaps stop comparing ATS to the map size of ETS2....maybe stop comparing, lol. ETS2 will be a bit further along by the time ATS gets all those states. But hey we will see. I just think SCS needs to catch ATS up more by any means necessary. Once ATS has enough for a (2) man team, let them rip. Don't hold back ATS because the ETS2 team still needs a few more to get that (2) team. ATS is the game needing it. ETS2 has the volume sales, it will survive as a (1) team show. ATS is still in that phase where many are staying away because of what it lacks.

Pyramide quote removed.

Goes to show that looks are deceiving. I called myself measuring out the max distance in ETS2 and comparing it to the longest route possible now in ATS. What is covered in the US with only 4 states, is about as large length wise as ETS2. But people don't see that. The US does need to box style the West to fill in more like ETS2. This is what is throwing people off. Looking at the sq miles comparing Europe to the US, Europe actually has more sq miles anyways. SCS just hasn't covered it all. By continuing to support ETS2, it appears they plan to now with ATS kicking in and growing support and love for both, will continue to push SCS to finish out the countries. Time frame is of the matter here.

Draw distance was increased in 1.29 for NM, however I wish it could be increased even further.
