Are you aware there are roof beacons? There's a node on the roof right at the back.

Yeah I installed them at my own truck. That time I was using another delivery mode.

Re: heavy haul dlc
Too bad the You Bet I Can Park It achievement is only available in ETS2. On some prefabs the spreader-less trailer can be parked on the extra difficult spot without twisting your brain too much.
Re: heavy haul dlc
I don't think I've had that quarry drop off so not sure if it's impossible or not, but that HMS pick up is pretty simple. I did it with a long frame viper2 389 the other day, which is longer than any stock SCS truck.dubmans wrote: ↑16 Jun 2017 16:04 ive have 2 problems with the dlc that i encountered so far
1. i have to deliver the bulldozer to a quarry with the scales in the entrance when you turn left.
2. picked up the green thing from the jobs but it was at a hms in los angeles and parked in the narrow space on the right side of the garage.
can you guys fix this

Re: heavy haul dlc
Maybe it was a trailer without the spreader? Because the trailer with a spreader is pretty hard to pick up even with the standard 389 long chassis in that particular location and spot from LA HMS.
I have approximate knowledge of many things

Re: heavy haul dlc
Many trucks that pull heavy, oversize trailers are dedicated to the task and equipped to fulfill it. Yet most trucks with a strong engine (and maybe a 6x4 chassis) are up to it and are probably used to haul loads like in the DLC as well as other heavy freight. (What's your opinion on this?)
In the game, you have to go to a service yard and buy a set of flags and the oversize banner for $70 before a heavy haul job, and if your next job is a normal one, you have to go to a service yard again and sell them for $42. Every single time you switch job types. Really? It's common sense that flags and banner would be stored in a box and fitted when doing a job that requires them. What about adding another tick box to the F4 menu?

Re: heavy haul dlc
This man makes a very valid point. There isn't a service station in every town, and it has annoyed me somewhat that I have to drive around with flags and oversize load sign when I picked up a trailer with containers. Not good for screenshots. It would be nice indeed if there was a tick box or some other type of switch where you could opt to hide those particular slots.Bandit & The Snowman wrote: ↑15 Jul 2017 19:47*snip*

Re: heavy haul dlc
I suggested that very same thing during the closed beta. I'm still holding on to hope that it will happen.
