The next update will close the Highway 1 section. Its reopening in American Truck Simulator will depend entirely on real world events. Fortunately, an alternate route is going to be available.
Is the alternate not added yet, or is it just 101? I got really excited for a new road, really hope I didn't misunderstand that blog post. Also, love the new flares and doubles, though as others have mentioned some of the old prefab destinations could use a size boost.

Then you were running regular doubles. There are 3 different setups. Rocky Mt Doubles are a 45 or 48 foot trailer (Not sure which version SCS used) with a 28 foot pup trailer on the back. A regular double is two 28 foot pup trailers while a triple is three 28 footers.

There also needs to be more of a deadzone with the double dolly. I mean I line my truck up perfectly, wheels straight, and after backing up for 5 meters me dolly jackknifes. I'd also really like it if rest stops could have better detection so I don't have to unhitch my trailer every time I sleep.

@canuckster thats what makes backing doubles difficult just like in real life. That is how they behave.

Normal doubles are allowed anywhere in the country. Rocky Mountain Doubles, Turnpike Doubles, and Triples are legal in only certain states; Nevada allows RMDs and Triples, California and Arizona allow only normal doubles.
