NEW LIST OF STATES?

Hey, I am a fellow American (lol weird) and I am honestly wondering what states are going to be added in a list. Like so- 1. (Calif, Nevada) 2. (Arizona) 3. (New Mexico) so on and so forth, Assuming the whole country is going to be made. Because I live in Wisconsin and I can't wait for my state to be made

At this point in time, we have absolutely no idea. ...is what I'd like to say, but that's not entirely true. It's true enough to where I wouldn't want to pretend I'm doing it with any sort of conviction, because it's basically just an educated guess.

-Based on this lovely blog post, which by the way predates the rescale, we can see that New Mexico and Oregon clearly have more detail than other states.
-In particular, image 3 of 7 is the star of the show.
-Between that and the implication that they're working on an eastern state and a northern state, the logical guess is that Oregon would be (or was, at one point,) the fifth state.
-Following that (and this information was available due to a mistake on their part, but it's available in a thread on this very forum, so), there's a tiny amount of development on core highways in Utah (including the Arizona I-15 leading into it) and Colorado.
-Given how basic geography works, we can assume Utah is coming before Colorado is, and if there's still a separate northern team then maybe we're getting Washington or Idaho between those two states (they're smaller than Oregon and would share some resources with it).
-Considering how important Texas is to the future of the game, I'm sure they'll want to get to it as soon as possible too; having said that, given how big it is, it wouldn't surprise me if it's split in half so that the state can actually receive the proper level of attention.

So my educated guess, which again is just a guess and is not to be taken as anything remotely resembling fact, would be something like:
1. Oregon
2. Utah
3-5. Some combination of Idaho, Washington, and Colorado
6. Texas, in some form (possibly just West Texas at first?)

When Texas comes it would be in one DLC. It's not that much bigger than France so I see little reason they would want to split it up.

My bets are on Texas and Oregon, then, God knows. i hope for Utah and Colorado, but...

After New Mexico - Oregon, I'm 99% sure.

Its fun to speculate. Especially once NM finally drops. But what we want and what we get obviously may not happen. Most voted for the map to be squared off. For this, I think a couple of bundle packages works best. Utah/Colorado and Washington/Oregon and then perhaps Idaho/Montana. If they do single states I have to go Oregon, Utah, Washington, Colorado and then Idaho.

Texas doesn't need to be completed just yet. Mainly because if it takes this long to get NM, Texas would be doubled that. That would lock up the Eastern map team and only leave the North team making states. Not feasible right now. I am in Texas and I would love to have it for its a state capable of having its own economy due to its size and distance apart from city to city. But we can do without for another year or so til the above states are given.

I don`t know what will come next, but I know what I would like to see next:

1. Utah
2. Oregon
3. Washington
4. Idaho
5. Colorado

That's my suggestion based on the historic Route 66. I think that's the most iconic and 'American' route us Europeans know of, so I'd bet a beer on it.
