I still want Montana and Wyoming first, but I won’t stop playing if Texas comes before Montana but having part of the 90 missing would not be fun.

As long as we have Wyoming, I'm okay with either Texas or Montana after. I've switched back and forth on which I think I'd prefer but I'd understand and be perfectly happy with either.

Regarding what team makes what.
Patrik and team Washington and Colorado.
Jakub and team Utah and Idaho.
Right?
Washington released 11 June 2019.
Utah was released 7 November 2019.
Idaho released 16 July 2020.
Colorado release mid/ November 2020?

Wait, when did Pavel or someone else in a stream say that they started full production on Idaho? Was it as late as around Utah release?
Patrik and some other staff did visit Colorado, last year august/september 2019.
What did the WA team do between the release and the Colorado visit?
NTM's B-Double Telescopic Skeletal Container Carrier. Youtube video on how it works. W & S thread.
B-Double trailer and short modes: EN 7.82 swap body, 20’ or 30’ containers.
Standalone 40' mode: EN 7.82 swap body, 20', 30', 40' or 2 x 20' trailer.

Jakub stated when they started Idaho when he was on for the Idaho release. I don't remember what he said besides it was started when Utah was in development. I think he gave specific though in months or time, I can't remember. I slept since then, lol. He had to manage both projects and a few bounced back and forth between dlc's though.

The Washington team could have been doing preliminary work in between Washington and full production Colorado. Not to mention, perhaps they did some bug fixes. If Pavel said he had (1) guy in Texas doing preliminary, to me that means it only takes (1) person for any dlc to do preliminary. We all know how huge Texas is so if (1) can do it, surely (1) can do any state solo. So maybe people split up to do preliminary on Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Kansas while Texas was getting it too and while some where in Colorado doing research. Now I am only talking about game planning. Maybe sketching in cities and roads to get an idea perhaps. Because once Texas releases, many directions are possible. I remember one stream at SCS showed group conversations and meetings that took place to brainstorm on a dry erase board iirc. Little groups like that is part of preliminary perhaps. After all, the map team has to let the asset team know what they need. Otherwise, the mappers don't have the specific detailed content they need.

This is the roadmap that I would favor:

2021: Wyoming, Texas
2022: Oklahoma, Louisiana/Arkansas, Kansas
2023: Nebraska, Mississippi/Tennessee, Missouri/Iowa
2024: Montana, Alabama/Georgia, North Dakota/South Dakota
2025: Minnesota, Florida, Kentucky
2026: Illinois, North Carolina/South Carolina, Wisconsin
2027: Indiana, West Virginia/Virginia/Washington D.C./Maryland, Ohio
2028: Michigan, Pennsylvania/Delaware/New Jersey, New York
2029: New England Bundle (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont)

I see Florida on 2023/2024. Pavel said, iirc, that he wanted to get to the east coast first. I tthin that will became first and then, go up.

Can't wait to drive through North Carolina! The Tail of the Dragon, Blue Ridge Parkway and the Highway 12 would be fantastic.

Yeah Pavel did say he wanted to get to Florida asap. But with multiple map teams, we should be able to go both East and North. B-lining straight to Florida though, puts us right back to square one with a corridor/hockey stick. If Pavel wants to please fans, the map will be more boxed with would then favor a more stair stepped map. It won't be until 2023 when we start seeing SCS's path take shape. One thing for sure is that the public research threads are our only indicator on what SCS is thinking. The path will involve those states and those states only.

@Graf_Boinenn commercial vehicles are strictly prohibited on both the Blue Ridge Parkway and The Dragon.

With three map teams, things could be done neatly. One team can work towards the east coast (Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and all the way upto Florida), one can go north from Oklahoma (Montana, Kansas, Nebraska and Dakotas) and the third team can go parallel to the east coast (Missouri, Tennessee, Carolinas). We would still have a decent shaped map. Also with three teams taking turns, each team gets enough time to do atleast two states at a time. Also, by the time the three teams reach their destinations, a fourth team can also be added (and probably do Canada/Mexico).
